Energy supplier E.on Next to create 1,300 jobs in the likes of Bolton as it looks to boost its customer support operations.
The permanent jobs will be based Nottingham, Leicester as well as the Greater Manchester town, among others.
The business is aiming to hire specialist workers who are trained to look after residential and small business customers.
