Energy giant's wind farm 'to impact habitability of Scottish islands', NTS says

A HUGE wind farm planned off Scotland’s west coast could significantly impact the “habitability” of nearby island communities, the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) has said.

The charity has set out details of its opposition to the proposed MachairWind development, which would see up to 144 turbines sited in 448 square kilometres of water to the west of Colonsay.
