One energy giant is planning to give thousands of their customers an extra £150 this winter.
Energy supplier Shell Energy will be paying out £150 to each of its 157,000 customers. Birmingham Live reports that thousands of billpayers may get £300 in total.

Chief executive for Shell Energy, Tony Keeling, said: "Our £50m package is intended to help those who need extra support.
"Targeting customers who receive the Warm Home Discount will give an extra £150 to 157,000 families this winter, and increasing our hardship fund to £20million over the next three years will mean even more customers can access financial support when they need it most."
The suppliers also confirmed that customers would receive the payment "around the same time" as the main discount.
However, it means that if you joined Shell on or after August 2022, your previous supplier will be responsible for your warm home discount and you won't get the top-up from Shell.
You'll get the extra £150 from Shell Energy if you joined it on or before 21 August 2022 and you're eligible for the main warm home discount.
Shell noted that this payment will allow more customers to access "vital financial support" during the cost of living crisis, and help reduce their energy debt.
