A former employee at a popular nightclub where 236 people died in a roof collapse told a judge Monday that the owners were fully aware the structure was deteriorated.
“They knew because I sent them photos,” Gregory Adames said while testifying against siblings Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, who are accused of involuntary manslaughter and involuntary assault and battery after the collapse at the legendary Jet Set club in Santo Domingo.
