Police have released the identities of two people who were found in the River Tawe in Swansea on Christmas Day.
At around 3.05am, emergency services were called on December 25 following reports that a car had gone into the river. Emergency services discovered a black Mini John Cooper Works fully submerged in the river alongside the bodies of a man and woman, both aged 36, nearby.
South Wales Police confirmed that the Mini driver was Rachel Curtis, from the Bonymaen area of Swansea while the male passenger was Jay Kyle Jenkins, from St Thomas. Specially trained officers are supporting their families, Wales Online reports.
