Bristol star Jayde Adams said going on Strictly Come Dancing 'was the best thing she had ever done in her life' after being eliminated from the competition on Sunday (October 23). The comedian lost in a dance-off with Molly Rainford, with all four judges saving the TV presenter.
Talking to co-host Tess Daly following her elimination, Jayde said: "This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life, and I will carry it to my grave. It's been an absolute pleasure working with you [dance partner Karen Hauer] and learning so much that will go into my stuff."
She added: "This has been such an honour. Not only have I been able to be on Strictly Come dancing, but I got to have Karen Hauer. You are amazing. Thank you for everything."

Jayde also paid to tribute to the way the celebrities are looked after on the show. "Nothing can hold a candle to this show and how it is run," she said.
"It is an incredible thing to be part of as a performer. We are so looked after.
"And in this industry where so many people aren't looked after, this show's every other show. It is incredible. Well done everyone."
Karen added that 'it has been a rollercoaster of emotions' for the couple. She said Jayde was 'so powerful and so emotional'.
Following Jayde's exit, Twitter user @kadeeschar said: "We absolutely adore you, the impact you had on the show was indescribable & your dances will go down in strictly history. You and Karen were the most special partnership & you will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for bringing us so much joy & positivity every week."
On Saturday night, Jayde gained 28 points out of a possible 40 for her Charleston routine to late comic Victoria Wood's 'The Ballad of Barry and Freda'. Judge Motsi Mabuse thought that from a performance point of view, she was probably the best they have, but said there needed to be more dancing with the celebrities being in week five of the show.
Head judge Shirley Ballas said: "You are a comic and now you can sing - that is amazing! It was so entertaining. All I ask is to see no 'throwaway arms'. When Karen {Hauer] is dancing, your body still has to talk."
Craig Revel Horwood was less complementary, saying: "You need double that amount of energy for this dance to keep it solid and going. For me, it wasn't great. Sorry."
Adams and Hauer were one of two same-sex pairings on the show this year, alongside BBC Radio 2’s Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice, who were the second couple to be voted out of the competition. The comedian and dancer are also the show’s second female same-sex couple, as Katya Jones was paired with Olympic gold medallist boxer Nicola Adams in 2020.
The result show opened with a routine from the professional dancers in tribute to the BBC’s natural history programming.
