The 2023 Emmy Awards (Emmys) may be a couple of months away, but excitement is already building as the film and television industry just received this year’s nominations.
The annual Emmys honour writers, directors, casts, and creatives who have shaped the world of television. This year, they will celebrate those who made a difference between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023, for shows such as The Crown, The White Lotus, and Better Call Saul.

The nominations were announced yesterday, on Wednesday, July 12.
Emmy-nominated actress Yvette Nicole Brown revealed the nominees alongside Television Academy chairman Frank Scherma.
When are the 2023 Emmys?
This year’s awards ceremony will take place on Monday, September 18 (or 1am on Tuesday, September 19 in the UK). As it is the 75th anniversary, it is expected to be bigger and better than ever.
The ceremony will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and be attended by international celebrities.
