Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads as they spotted a blunder during Caleb Milligan's attempted murder investigation.
The search to find the person who pushed Caleb off the cliff has continued as DS Raveley and DC Croft started their investigation.
Yet many viewers have already slammed the unrealistic methods.
There are lots of suspects, who all seem to have motives for wanting to get rid of Caleb.
It meant Cain Dingle, Leyla Harding, Will Taylor, Mackenzie Boyd and Chloe Harris were all questioned by the detectives.
However some of the questioning left many viewers concerned as they took place in very public locations.
Cain was quizzed by the officers next to a coffee machine in the hospital, whilst Leyla's took place in The Woolpack surrounded by punters.
Fans rumbled the blunder, as one said: "Of course it's normal to question someone in the local pub. FFS."
Another added: "Who holds a police interview in the pub? WTF, Emmerdale. Hotten police are s***"
"God, Emmerdale. Police and scriptwriters are ridiculous. No forensic evidence, just gossip and innuendo is enough to get you nicked for murder," wrote someone else.
Caleb finally got this comeuppance last week when a mystery figure attacked him and pushed him off the edge of a cliff before leaving him for dead.
He was seen recovering in hospital on Monday's episode.
The police suspected Leyla's messy break-up with Caleb made her a prime suspect and her lack of alibi only worsened matters for her.
Once she was alone with David Metcalfe, Leyla admitted she was keeping the truth from the police but insisted she didn't attack her ex-boyfriend.
The recovering drug addict revealed she hadn't been on a walk when Caleb was attacked but instead was driving to Hotten to buy cocaine.
But she was too ashamed to tell the police the truth.
Whilst some fans have predicted Caleb's son was behind the assault.
Sharing their theory in an Emmerdale forum, one Reddit user wrote: "Imma say it was Nicky who did that to Caleb. He ain’t around at the moment, and they didn’t show him on screen to make you think it was him. Maybe that’s too obvious but I’ll stick with it." (sic)
Caleb's attack came after his plan to take down Kim Tate was exposed leaving many residents feeling betrayed.
