Emmerdale viewers have slammed tonight's attack scene after Suzy Merton was left unconscious and bleeding in the street.
Suzy had been plotting with Leyla Harding to try and bring drug dealer Callum down but both their attempts massively backfired. After Leyla tried to frame him, he threatened to harm her son Jacob.
Suzy then came up with a plan to tarnish Callum's reputation among his criminal associates, hoping he would be too distracted to make good on his threats. Again, things don't go to plan and he viciously attacks Suzy with a brick.

The scene has left Emmerdale viewers with mixed feelings. Many complained that it looked "fake", while others questioned why it was Mary Goskirk who ended up finding Suzy and calling an ambulance.
@Zombiechick1967 wrote: "Oh my god! That was the worst fake hit and fall I've EVER seen!! Hahahahaha."
@_Kax_x commented: "He hardly touched her...?"
@Chestikov69 asked: "Wtf was that?"
@TwellyWatcher tweeted: "Suzy’s attack was a bit uhm… filmed weird like idk it didn’t look right for some reason."
They later added: "Mary randomly appearing at the end of the episode..."
@DionPetrie criticised: "They could have made it look a bit more real."
@_Pixxalt agreed, saying: "Weak a** hit wtf was that."
