Alex recently decided to reject a job offer in Wales and stay in the village as he claimed he wanted to stay with Charles' daughter Naomi.

Alex has a history with the village, and has been in prison after his drug dealing ways caught up with him. He is Dawn Taylor’s ex and he got her hooked on drugs years ago. He is also the father of her son Lucas, and another child called Clemmie.
