Emmerdale viewers have demanded more information about Thomas King’s arrival as his new storylines has left fans baffled.
During Thomas’ time on the Dales he caused chaos wherever he went, now after 10 years he's back in the village and looks very different to what he did when he left in 2013.
The character first arrived in the Dales in 2004 amid a huge custody battle between his parents - Carl and Colleen - as they made a decision to divorce.
His dad Carl later got with Chas, but after he died Thomas blamed Chas for his death and began terrorising and stalking her.
After a short lived romance with Belle Dingle, Thomas was eventually banished to Saudi Arabia where his mother now lived.
The character is now played by new actor James Chase and during tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Thomas is trying to rebuild his relationship with his aunty and uncle as they reunited for the first time in years.
Jimmy and Nicola were shocked when they bumped into Tom in the cafe. He insisted he returned to the village to rekindle his romance with Belle.
Tom's true intentions are unclear and fans are left baffled with the newcomers' storyline. @macnamara60 Tweeted: “I can’t remember enough about young Tom to know why everyone’s tiptoeing around him. #Emmerdale.”

Who is Thomas King?
Thomas King is Carl and Colleen King's son. Thomas' parents split when he was young, and he first appeared in 2004 when his mum tells Carl she wants a divorce.
Thomas left but returned in 2013 when he was found to be stalking Chas, sending her photos in the post and making silent phone calls.
After causing much trouble in the village Thomas soon started a romantic relationship with Belle but when the parents eventually found out, they where banned from seeing each another. In his final scenes, Thomas is ordered to return to Saudi Arabi - he stole the camper van and headed to the airport and flew back to Saudi Arabia to be with his mum again.
