Emmerdale fans got to see an adorable rarely seen star in this evening’s episode of the soap.
Momentum is building to the culmination of the soap’s 50th anniversary storylines with any villagers getting screen time. Tonight we’ve seen the returning Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, reconnect with Liv Flaherty, played by Isobel Steele, while Chas Dingle’s affair with Al Chapman continues to become more sordid.
As part of the latter storyline, fans saw Paddy Dingle, played by Dominic Brunt, spend time with his and Chas’ daughter Eve Dingle. The toddler only tends to have limited screen time with viewers delighted to see her.

Many took to Twitter to celebrate Eve’s appearance. Fan @TVMusings22 wrote: “In other news isn’t Eve a little sweetheart bless her #emmerdale.” @ShakyWoon added: “Paddy with Eve! #Emmerdale.”
While @Samanth22356123 said: “There’s Eve!!!! #emmerdale.” We saw @jesstimms637 post: “Eve! She’s my favourite #emmerdale.”
Elsewhere, fans spotted a brief reference to infamous Emmerdale serial killer Meena Jutla, portrayed by Paige Sandhu, with some speculating the character might have a part to play in the soap’s milestone month. Meena bumped off many village favourites before finally getting her comeuppance with jail time.
Fan @meenasandhu22 said: “#Emmerdale meena mentioned.” Another @summergill_2009 asked: “Is meena back!?!?!??”
While @rachguy2 added: “I bet Meena returns for one last stab this month.” A devastated @kamsveto wrote: “How did I miss a Meena mention?”
