Emmerdale viewers were baffled by a blunder as Cain Dingle was arrested for Al Chapman's murder.
Tuesday's edition of the long-running soap showed the fallout from last night's dramatic shootout. The two enemies faced off against each other after Cain discovered Al was having an affair with Chas Dingle.
Cain found Chas' secret phone and lured Al to a barn outside the village where he held him at gunpoint. However, Cain tossed away the weapon as he preferred to have a fist fight.

The episode last night ended on a cliffhanger as a shot was fired, but it was unknown who took the bullet. The start of tonight's programme revealed it was Al who took the bullet as Cain was stood over him holding a shotgun.
Al's girlfriend, Kerry Wyatt, was horrified to discover the body. The character, played by Laura Norton, was in the area after she tried to prevent her daughter, Chloe Harris, from leaving the village.
The two were walking when they spotted Al's car and decided to investigate what was going on in the barn. Kerry had blocked Chloe's taxi from leaving with her car and fans on Twitter were confused why they didn't drive back into the village.
William said: "What happened to Kerry's car?"
Momo commented: "Did Kerry give the taxi driver her car plus the £40. Why was she walking? Why did Cain run and not tell Kerry what Al was up to"
Fordy tweeted: "Why was Kerry and Chloe walking? ...Kerry stopped Chloes taxi with her car"
Sonia posted: "Only on 1 minute and I want to know why Kerry was walking and not in the blue car she was driving?"
