Emmerdale fans finally found out the secret that Charles has been keeping to himself as new cast member Eddie Osei made his appearance in Thursday night's episode.
The actor has joined the ITV soap as Victor, who has just been released from a lengthy prison sentence.
Vicar Charles, who is portrayed by Kevin Mathurin, was seen taking secretive phone calls before he entered a high-security prison to meet Victor.
