Emmerdale bosses have revealed the big 50th celebrations will feature some soap firsts, including stunts and elements that no other soap can apparently pull off.
Producers Jane Hudson and Kate Brooks revealed they were "nervous" but excited as filming is now underway for their big milestone.
A month full of drama will see revelations, key moments and massive stunts, with a windstorm causing devastation in the village.
Lives will be on the line as characters face grave peril, with everyone involved - and some characters returning.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Kate and Jane detailed one particular element which involves three characters, that hasn't been done in soap before.
They claimed no other soap could do it like Emmerdale, teasing the location was a big clue as to what it was.
Belle Dingle, Nate Robinson and Sam Dingle all feature in the mystery storyline, which is set to "dominate" October's episodes.
Few details have been revealed on what happens and what it all means, but it's been teased it will "feel different" to the soap's past stunts.
Jane teased: "There is a story, which involves Nate, Sam and Belle, which is the one that only Emmerdale can do. And that's going to dominate quite a lot of the 50th as well."
Kate had previously spilled: "We're all super excited about the 50th. I think, you know, it's a massive privilege to be a part of this big, massive celebration.
"A lot of work and a lot of effort has gone into making sure that what hits the screens is going to be magnificent, and that you guys will enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed making it.
"As part of our big 50th Week, although there's a general month of celebrations, the big 50th week will focus on a massive storm that is going to rip through the village and absolutely leave a massive trail of destruction in its wake.
"Some of our best loved villagers will be in peril. And it's safe to say that literally the village won't be the same after this, and it will never be the same again, because the impact this storm has on people's lives is just massive."
Kate went on: "We are keen to make sure that we've covered all the different characters, and that all the families who are in the village are affected and impacted in some way by what happens during the month of October.
"In terms of filming, it's quite unprecedented in terms of what we're doing at the scale of what we're doing. I think there's elements of the big storm week that I've not seen on a soap before, and it's very exciting/nerve-wracking to be part of that."
On how it will differ from past stunts, including a past storm, Jane said: "I think it will feel incredibly different and it involves so many of our families.
"I think it will feel incredibly different to [the previous storm we did] and it involves so many of our families. It's not just a storm that affects one small group, it affects the entire village so I think it will feel different, and I think one element in particular really will feel different.
"There is one element that trust me nobody has done, and no other soap could do it apart from Emmerdale because of where we are."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
