A host of Emmerdale fans have set up a club for fans to join.
Dubbed the ‘Emmerdale Book Club, star Jessie Elland revealed details of their newly-launched Instagram page while appearing on the Lorriane show. Jess, who plays Chloe Harris in the soap, said: “Yes, we have a little book club going. I’m an avid reader. I’m a little nerd.”
Jessie has set Rather Be Reading Book Club up alongside Emmerdale co-stars Daisy Campbell, Isabel Hodgins and Eden Taylor-Draper. The acting stars are encouraging fans of the soap to get involved and join in with the reads.

On her profile for the book club, Jessie says her favourite genres are gothic fictions, classics and magic realism. She also lists Shirley Jackson, Slyvia Plath, Charles Dickens and Neil Gaiman as some of her favourite authors.
“We are going to do a book a month and get people to share their views,” Jessie said. “I recently finished A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara which I absolutely loved.”
