Proving how close Emmerdale stars are we’ve spotted some of its favourites spending a day away together in Cumbria.
Dominic Brunt and real-life couple Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry ventured to St Bees. They play Paddy Dingle, Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk, respectively.
During their trip they popped to Hartley’s Beach Shop and Tea Room to fuel up with an ice cream and a coffee. Posting on their Facebook page, the business stated: “Special Visitors today!! Paddy, Cain and Rhona from Emmerdale came to visit!”

Responding to the tea room’s social media reveal, Donald Kelly wrote: “I hope Cain enjoyed the tea you made him.” The stars were also spotted stocking up on supplies at a Co-op shop in nearby Cleator Moor. Catherine Boyd said: “They were in the Co-op yesterday Cleator Moor. It was so funny my husband thought I was joking until we came around the next aisle and started talking to them.
The three characters portrayed by the acting stars are expected to be involved in some major storylines coming as part of Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary - kicking off this October. When asked what she could reveal about the 50th anniversary, Zoe joked: “Not much as I’ll probably lose my job, if I do.”
She then added: “Yes, there’s a storm and there’s some heavy duty wind machines. I think it will be quite a roller coaster and it’ll be worth tuning in.”
Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary will see some former favourites return to the village as well as a major storm which will have a huge impact on the lives of some of the soap’s favourites.
