An Emmerdale star has spoken about the possibility of leaving the soap because of a major storyline.
As Emmerdale fans know, Faith Dingle is currently battling a cancer diagnosis. Acting star Sally Dexter, who plays Faith, has opened up about what the future holds for the character and whether we might be soon saying a tragic goodbye.
“She wants to live her life, for as long as she can, as vibrantly as she can,” Sally said, speaking to Inside Soap. “That’s why she doesn’t want people to know what she’s going through or to change how people are towards her.

“I think she would like to pose for some kind of Gok Wan-style ‘you look fabulous naked’ sort of picture’.” Sally has also praised the support she’s received from co-stars Jeff Hordley and Lucy Pargeter in recent weeks.
Sally explained: “Jeff and Lucy are fabulous. They’re the warmest, most welcoming, funniest people to be around and work with. They are so brilliant at what they do. They take my breath away sometimes.”
