Emmerdale star Adam Thomas is bringing his streetfood project back to the Trafford Centre. Oh My Glaze will return to the Traff’s outdoors ‘Spring Escape’ event, setting up shop on April 9.
Oh My Glaze is both a hot sauce business and a pop-up kitchen, which was first devised back in 2015. Thomas, who used to play Adam Barton in Emmerdale, set it up with his school friend Scott Graham.
The pair set up The Spinn bar together in Gatley in 2019, after having branched out into hot sauces, burgers and chicken wings for the Oh My Glaze brand.
“I am delighted to officially announce that Oh My Glaze is back at Trafford Centre, bigger and stronger for 2022,” he said. “After a strong term for the business, myself and Scott are both looking forward to what the upcoming month has to offer and welcoming the lovely public back to the home of hot sauce (as we like to say!)
“Manchester holds a special place in our hearts and has such a buzz surrounding the city, the Trafford Centre destination is a natural fit for Oh My Glaze.”
The menu features classic burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, vegan and veggie burgers, along with sides like fried chicken and halloumi bites, and cajun fries. The burgers then come glazed with various Oh My Glaze glazes, including cajun BBQ, scotch bonnet and rhubarb and chipotle chocolate.
Zoe Inman, Trafford Centre Director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome back Oh My Glaze to Trafford Centre this spring, the perfect street-food addition as we launch our exciting outdoor activities.
“Oh My Glaze proved to be hugely popular last year, so we’re looking forward to having their fiery menu back on offer!”
