Emmerdale star Karene Peters has quit her role in the soap just a year after she first started playing Naomi Walters.
Karene Peters joined Emmerdale in 2022 in a major storyline. She appeared as Vicar Charles Anderson’s long-lost daughter.
The Sun has reported news of Karene’s exit from the show. A source said: “Karene’s loved her time on the soap but it is time for her to go.

“Being on Emmerdale was a dream but she became an actor to play different roles and that’s exactly what she wants to do. The door isn’t being closed on Naomi so she could always make a return down the line.”
It is being reported Karene will soon film her final scenes with her exit expected over the summer months. In recent weeks, viewers have watched as Karene’s character Naomi has recently split from Nate Robinson in the soap.
