Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb has announced that she’s returned to work five months after leaving the soap.
The actress played Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap for 19 years before calling it quits for good back in January. At the time speaking about her exit, she said: "This is always my most asked question but I've never answered it before because I've never wanted to make a big deal of it.
"I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it's been a year. I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn't."

But it’s not all bad news as it seems we'll be seeing her back on our screens very soon as she teased an exciting new project.
Posting a snap on the way to work on her Instagram story while wearing house slippers she wrote: "The slippers are coming to work with me today.”
It was previously reported that Charley decided to step back after her husband Matthew's alleged race row. Speaking about Charley's exit, a source told The Sun: "Charley is closing the door on Emmerdale for good and won’t be going back.
"Matthew being caught up in the row on set fuelled her decision to step away. Naturally the door is open for her character, who is now living in Scotland, should she change her mind. But for now she is looking to the future."
