Emmerdale fans will know that Meena (Paige Sandhu) recently made her return to the village after her brief hiatus to Scotland.
Upon her return, she, of course, has been continuing her menacing ways by trying to ruin Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Billy’s (Jay Kontzle) wedding day.
However, it initially seemed like there was an end to her storyline last week as Doctor Liam (Jonny McPherson) pushed her off of a bridge after she teased how she killed his daughter.
However, Emmerdale spoilers reveal that villanelle Meena, is still yet to appear in some episodes next week.
Monday night’s episode of Emmerdale revealed the aftermath of Meena’s falling off the bridge, as she was arrested and taken into custody. The episode revealed that she is pleading self-defence.
Coming up next week, Meena will not stop at her manipulative ways as she spots another target, even from behind bars. Charles (Kevin Mathurin) has a plan to get Meena to confess and will visit her in prison next week as part of his strategy to do this.
However, upon his prison visit, Meena confesses to Charles that she killed Andrea (Anna Nightingale). Charles is taken aback by this in-person revelation as she goes into detail about the heinous act in the maize maze last year.
As Meena relays how she killed Andrea, Charles struggles to cope with these details. Following this, he goes to church to try and find a way to process this news.
He confides in Harriet (Katherine Blyton) who provides some supporting words.
Following this, Charles decides to make a support group for those who have been affected by Meena’s awful actions.
Liam who has had both his daughter and wife affected by Meena’s violence agrees to join the support group.
Charles tells Meena his decision to stop visiting her and instead prioritise his congregation at church.
This infuriates Meena as this brings a halt to her plans to further manipulate Charles. But will she give up so easily or will she find another way to get to him and continue her manipulating behaviour?
