Emmerdale are set to air some big scenes next week - as Caleb's fate is finally revealed and Belle Dingle is left reeling.
The ITV soap aired a dramatic fall for Caleb this week as he was pushed off a cliff following the revelations about his true identity coming out. Caleb has been unmasked by Kim Tate for his plan to take everything she has - leaving Cain Dingle horrified after realising what his brother was really doing there and why he had decided to reconnect with his family.
After the horror fall this week, next week, we will learn Caleb's fate after the cliff plunge as he is rushed to hospital. Speculation continues to be rife over who might have pushed him, with several residents are trying to prove their innocence.
Caleb's fate revealed
As Caleb recovers in hospital, Chas Dingle stays by his bedside whilst Cain - despite the pair's fractious relationship - also shows up at the hospital. However, the police are adamant they want to investigate what happened and questions soon begin to be asked.
Caleb's son Nicky Miligan returns to the village after learning of his father's accident, having fled after the fall out from the wedding.
He is left emotional when he sees his dad so ill, but the family are told Caleb might be being brought out of his coma that day. Will he be ok, and will the doctors have been successful in nursing him back to full health?
Asked if Caleb was to survive, would the attacker be in serious danger, and how far might he go for revenge, Will Ash told The Mirror: "His whole life he's held his grudge that he was put into care and that his mum abandoned him and his family abandoned him.
"His dad didn't want anything to do with him. He is one of those people who will hold a grudge for a long time. It feels like - somebody's tried to kill him essentially. So once he finds out who that is, the gun's loaded for whoever that person is definitely."
Will has hinted Caleb could die in a shocking twist - as doctors rush to save him.
"He's a great character to play. There's so much going on with him, so much amazing backstory he can tap into that motivates all these storylines that he's had. The writers have really written brilliantly for it. I've had an amazing time," he said.
