Emmerdale is lining up hugely concerning scenes next week, as the ITV soap airs a collapse, a bombshell and one teen fears her baby will be taken away from her according to spoilers.
Amelia Spencer could lose her baby daughter Esther next week, as cruel Samson Dingle, the baby's dad, decides the baby should be adopted.
When she says no, he takes drastic action - which results in a collapse for his father Sam Dingle.
Elsewhere, Chas Dingle struggles to keep a lid on her affair with recently murdered Al Chapman - in the fallout to his death at the hands of little Kyle.
With her brother Cain Dingle in prison for the crime, Chas' grief pours out leading to some suspicions - just as Al's partner Kerry Wyatt makes a discovery...
Amelia's child loss heartbreak and Sam's collapse
Amelia Spencer receives a visit from social services next week on the ITV soap as she starts to doubt her abilities as a new mum.
It comes as Lydia Dingle piles baby Esther onto her dad Samson Dingle, who is left fuming at being left holding the baby.
In scenes later on in the week, Amelia is stunned when Samson suggests putting baby Esther up for adoption.
Samson cruelly reminds Amelia of her abortion plans and is annoyed when his scheming backfires.
Left utterly distraught, Amelia confirms she knows what’s best for Esther – to stay with her family.
Noah and Samson soon have a heated confrontation over the situation, leaving Samson determined to take action.
The character sinks to a new low and calls social services, pleading with them to take Esther into care.
The following day a confused Dan opens the door to a social worker, and a worried Amelia is shocked to learn there’s been a complaint made about baby Esther’s welfare.
Soon, the drama gets too much for Samson's dad Sam Dingle when it all comes out, and he collapses to the ground.
Chas' secret threatened, as lying Al exposed
Chas Dingle is set to receive her ‘comeuppance ’ in the wake of her affair with the late Al Chapman, as husband Paddy becomes suspicious in upcoming scenes.
New ITV spoilers have revealed that next week sees Chas struggling to keep it together in the village.
The storyline kicks off as Chas is left thrown when Kerry reveals Al’s funeral is to take place the following day, asking if she’ll consider accompanying her.
The following day, Kerry is understanding when Chas explains she needs to attend Liv’s send off instead of Al’s funeral.
Meanwhile, Kerry makes a devastating discovery that Al was likely cheating on her and planning to leave her.
Al’s estate agent calls and lets slip that he was buying a house for his partner and her child - with this not being Kerry.
In later scenes, Kerry is still reeling from the betrayal, but finds support from Chas of all people, who – with a guilty conscience – encourages her to make a big decision.
Could the truth of Chas and Al’s affair be on the verge of being revealed to all?
