Emmerdale’s Charity is set to see her feud with Amy escalate next week on the Dales, as Chloe is made homeless on the ITV soap.
The scenes will be part of the Emmerdale Christmas episodes, as the village prepares for the festive season.
The dramatic Charity scenes come amid baby Esther’s christening on the soap, when Amelia is touched by Noah’s support.
Yet Lydia is disappointed when Samson refuses to accompany her to the church, still in denial over his newfound parenthood.
In the midst of the special day, Chloe and Amy are confrontational around Chas and Charity – and they soon rub Charity up the wrong way when they argue.
When Chloe and Amy arrive at the Christening at Chas’ invitation, Charity is less than impressed.
As Charles begins Esther’s christening proceedings at the church, Charity’s feud with Amy threatens to throw the service into chaos.
The special moment is indeed derailed when Charity and Amy can’t stop themselves from launching into a heated argument and they even come to blows.
PC Swirling witnesses the debacle and before long Amy and Charity give their statements to the copper, who places Charity under arrest.
The next day, Amy nurses a bruised wrist from her run in with Charity, while Chloe is conflicted over how the situation escalated on Amelia and Esther’s big day.
Having been released from prison pending further investigation, Charity puts on a strong front to Mackenzie.
A protective Mack then pays a visit to his secret one night stand Chloe and attempts to coerce her into changing her statement.
She in turn then tries to get Amy to see reason in regards to her false police statement, amid worries that Charity could go to prison.
Amy suggests she once again moves out, but a pregnant Chloe knows she now has nowhere to live over Christmas.
Meanwhile, Nate becomes increasingly suspicious on seeing Mackenzie’s reaction when Chloe leaves.
Will Nate put two and two together and figure out Mackenzie is the father of Chloe’s baby?
Before long, Chloe lies to Amy that she's got a place to stay only for Amy to feel bad the next day that she kicked Chloe to the curb.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV.
