Emmerdale's Laurel Thomas is set to surprise viewers next week as she finally admits that she is ready to find love once more.
Laurel was once in a long-term relationship with Jai Sharma in the ITV soap however was left heartbroken after the truth about Jai’s scheming was exposed.
The pair separated but Jai promised he’d turned over a new leaf, and subsequently went out of his way to make amends with Laurel, Metro reports.

At the time Laurel was impressed by his effort as she gushed about the lengths he went to win her back. The pair decided to give things another go, but a series of unfortunate events led to them separating once more
Drugs were found in Take A Vow, where Jai had been sitting previously. He was adamant that the drugs were not his.
However Laurel, refused to believe him, and the two exchanged some harsh words, resulting in their relationship coming to an end.
But since then it looks like Laurel is ready to find love as next week she surprises herself as she admits to her loved ones that she’s ready for a new relationship. Only time will tell if things between her and Jai are truly over.
