Emmerdale actress Zoë Henry nearly lost her role as Rhona to one of her co-star's wives.
Zoë has played Rhona Goskirk for several years and is currently supporting her husband Marlon Dingle in his road to recovery after he experienced a stroke. However, it very nearly wasn't Zoë who got the role.
In fact, Paddy Kirk actor Dominic Brunt's wife Joanne Mitchell nearly bagged the part, but bosses stepped in at the last minute because they felt it would be "weird" as Paddy and Marlon are best friends in the show.
