Sam Dingle and his wife Lydia will be devastated over the Christmas period on Emmerdale this year.
Their worlds will be rocked by a sudden death on their farm. They get some tragic news about one of their beloved pigs, and the only one remaining after the others sadly passed away, reported The Mirror.
It will be the end of an era for the family as vet Rhona Goskirk tells them that their final pig is severely unwell. Unfortunately it's heartbreaking news for the couple as they are told that their animal friend has to be put down.
