An Emmerdale star has opened up about what it will be like to say goodbye to a co-star when they soon leave the show.
As Emmerdale fans know, villain Meena Jutla’s time in the soap is coming to an end with the character’s terrible crimes being exposed.
This does mean we’ll also be saying farewell to acting star Paige Sandhu, 25, who has previously spoken about her impending exit.

During her time on the programme, Paige has formed a close bond with Rebecca Sarker who plays Meena’s sister Manpreet Sharma.
Rebecca has spoken to Inside Soap about how much she’ll miss Paige.

“It’s a bit strange to say the least to think that I’m not going to be with her,” Rebecca said.
“I can’t really imagine Meena not being part of Manpreet’s storyline or vice versa. But there was life before Meena and there will be life afterwards - I think! I haven’t heard anything else of the contrary.
Paige Sandhu has played Meena Jutla in Emmerdale since 2020.
In that time, the killer character has bumped off many village favourites with her crimes recently being unearthed.
Rebecca is excited to see what is next in Paige’s career after she’s done playing Emmerdale villain Meena.
“That’s the life of an actor though people come and go,” Rebecca said.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that Paige will go on to do brilliant things.”
