Emmerdale star Martelle Edinborough has given fans an update after she received hospital treatment for a brain aneurysm.
As we previously reported, Martelle Edinborough, who plays Suzy Merton in Emmerdale, has recently undergone treatment in hospital. Taking to Twitter, she said: “A few weeks ago I was told an existing brain aneurysm thought to always be tiny and stable had in fact always been of a size that needed treatment.”
Many friends and fans of Emmerdale offered their support to the acting star. Martelle confirmed her surgery had been a success.

She is currently recovering and hoping to soon be back recording scenes in the Emmerdale village. Martelle has now posted another update for fans on Twitter.
Martelle said: “Life is so beautiful in every single way and I love it. The ups, the downs, the smiles, the frowns but most of all the growth it gives you through all of this. In self and love.”
