Former Emmerdale actress Mimi Slinger excited fans with a very drastic hair transformation.
Taking to Instagram, the 19-year-old shared a short clip of her posing with darkened locks. The soap star is normally blonde, but it seemed she had opted to go brunette instead.
Mimi captioned the video with: "Playing dress up". Some of her 69.5K followers were quick to comment that they loved her new look.

However, Mimi later explained on her Instagram Story that her brunette hair transformation was in fact a wig. She shared a picture of her still blonde, with the caption: "It was just a wig - still a blonde for all you asking haha."
Mimi is best known for playing Leanna Cavanagh on the ITV soap. She left after her character was brutally murdered by Meena Jutla last year. The actress had been a part of the Emmerdale cast since March 2018, but also makes music and works as a model.
