Emmerdale's Kim declares war on Harriet with dark threat ahead of 'fireworks'

Emmerdale's Kim Tate reminded Harriet Finch she was 'God of the village' in a chilling threat, ahead of huge scenes for the pair.

The villain wasted no time in confronting Harriet, after she meddled in her ongoing drama with partner Will Taylor, and his daughter Dawn Taylor.

Harriet has been advising her ex Will on how to deal with the situation, as he remained caught in the middle between Kim and his daughter.

Kim didn't take too kindly to Harriet lending a shoulder to cry on to Will, and believed she was trying to win her ex back.

Harriet downplayed this, but Kim soon issued her a threat and warned her to back off or else.

Emmerdale fans were thrilled to see a bit of the old Kim Tate back on Thursday, as the ruthless villain confronted Harriet Finch (ITV)

As Harriet claimed she wasn't scared, Kim reminded her she was capable of anything and it was clear Harriet was spooked.

Kim showed up at her house and told her: "I know you have been speaking to Will and I know why too... you're jealous."

As Harriet denied this, Kim picked up the former vicar's copy of the Bible and began to read a passage in a menacing tone.

She read, declaring war on Harriet and making it clear she was her enemy: "I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and did not turn back till they were consumed.

"I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise; they fell under my feet...They cried for help, but there was none to save; they cried to the LORD, but he did not answer them.

"I beat them fine as dust before the wind; I cast them out like the mire of the streets."

As she stopped, Harriet swiped back telling her: "Is that supposed to be a threat? Because that’s about having God on your side."

Kim then moved closer to her, and declared: "Round here I am God, and you do well to remember that."

As the villain then walked out of the house, Harriet feigned a look of fearlessness only to buckle once Kim was out of the door.

It's been teased Harriet will push Kim too far towards the 50th anniversary months, as she attempts to win back Will.

Knowing Kim's dark and murderous past, Harriet will no doubt face danger as she prepares to cross the villain.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hourlong episode on Thursdays.
