Emmerdale fans have a ‘juicy’ love triangle to tuck into over the coming weeks.
The ITV soap’s stars Jessie Elland and Lawrence Robb sat down to offer a few spoilers to fans regarding the love triangle between their characters Chloe Harris and Mackenzie Boyd as well Charity Dingle. As viewers know, Mackenzie is due to marry Charity later this year but they are also aware he’s father to Chole’s unborn baby.
It is fair to say, the three are going to be in for a tumultuous 2023. Emmerdale executive producer Jane Hudson has previously set the scene.

She said: “We have got the Charity and Mackenzie wedding on the cards. I think we all know weddings don’t go very smoothly. Chloe’s baby will be due around the time of the wedding - I think you can put the pieces together. It will be explosive for Charity and Mackenzie.”
Explaining Mackenzie’s feelings, acting star Lawrence said: “I think he’s been put in a massive rock and a hard place in this situation. He did really want to be a dad with Charity and he really loves Charity. He is now going to be a father but with the wrong person.
“Yes, he does want to be a father but he’s very trepidatious about the situation he’s in. It is very juicy.”
Asked whether Mazkenzie and Charity’s relationship will survive, Lawrence answered: “No idea. No idea.”
Jessie added: “Knowing what a well-established character Charity is and how fiery she is then it is in the back of your mind as the storyline plays out.”
We can likely expect many twists and turns in the months to come with a possible explosive outcome. Should the truth ever come out, would Charity ever forgive Mackenzie?

Lawrence answered: “I’m not sure. I don’t know whether Charity will forgive him or not. In the coming weeks, he will want to tell her and I think he will get quite close to doing so. We’ll wait and see how Charity reacts when she finds out. I don’t know what is coming to happen.”
