Emmerdale fans may see a few more additions to the Dingle clan in the coming weeks.
Arguably, the best-loved family in soapland, the Dingles, regularly have relations coming out of the woodwork. The latest member is Cain Dingle’s long-lost brother Caleb Milligan - played by Will Ash.
The new character will appear over the festive period in Emmerdale. There’s sure to be fireworks in the coming weeks - particularly as Cain is still behind bars accused of killing Al Chapman.

Speaking at a press event, previewing the show’s Christmas storylines, Will gave us a little hint about what we can expect from the village’s newest arrival with Caleb growing up in care.
“He’s made a lot of money with horses. He’s had this bad thing happen to him where he’s grown up in care and decided he’s not going to be a victim,” Will explained. “As a little kid he used to ride horses and train them. Then he started selling them. He’s made a lot of money in horses.”
The character is still being developed but Will said he’d welcome new additions associated with Caleb. Asked if, further down the line, viewers might see characters from Caleb’s life away from the Dingles, Will said: “Possibly. I think so. I don’t know any of this but he might have been married or divorced and have kids. At the moment, he’s come in as a lone wolf but there’s certainly potential.
Former Waterloo Road cast member Will, 45, added: “It is so great about him there’s a bit of a blank canvas and there’s only so much even I know about him at the moment. I think he’s holding quite a lot back.”

The acting star has told fans he’s delighted to be part of Emmerdale’s famous Dingle clan. Will explained: “I was excited about it as there’s a wealth of diverse characters there. They are a big family in the eyes of people who watch Emmerdale. I wasn’t intimidated about joining it as that’s your job as an actor.”
