Emmerdale star Daisy Campbell, who plays teen Amelia Spencer, is currently in the midst of one of her biggest storylines to date after her on-screen character discovered she was pregnant.
The news came as a shock to the 15-year-old who thought her dizzy spells and blurred vision were due to taking a weight syrup. However, after fainting while babysitting Gabby Tate's son Thomas, doctors at the hospital told Amelia that she was expecting and viewers have been desperate to figure out who the baby's father could be ever since.
The 19-year-old soap star actually pitched the storyline to producers herself, alongside her on-screen dad Liam Fox, who plays Dancer Spencer. She said: "I’ve always wanted this storyline for Amelia, so I was over the moon about it."

The teen has expressed her excitement over filming upcoming scenes, in particularly the birth itself. She said: "I’m a little bit nervous but I’m really excited because I’ve done my prep and stuff so I know where to go with it. I think overall it’s really exciting.
"I’ve watched a lot of underage pregnancy birth videos. I’ve watched a lot of One Born Every Minute but more of the teen ones because I feel like that’s what my storyline’s created mostly around."
Soap boss Jane Hudson has teased the prospect of a very dramatic birth as eagle eyed viewers may have realised that Amelia's upcoming due date will likely coincide with the special 50th anniversary episodes.
The news comes from a special press event with the Emmerdale team to preview October’s 50th anniversary milestone. There will be lots of big storylines coming which will likely impact many of the show’s favourite characters.
Jane Hudson teased: "Amelia is due soon. Whether or not she has the baby in the 50th celebration I’m obviously not going to tell you.
"Amelia does play a very big part in the storm and she needs to be found because she’s stuck on her own. So she does play a very big part" as she revealed that a deadly storm will "rip through the village" in stunts "no other soap can pull off."
