Emmerdale viewers are convinced Claudette is still lying to Charles - despite her admitting to lying about her back injury.
On the ITV soap yesterday evening, Claudette (Flo Wilson) continued to fake her back injury. Manpreet has been suspicious of Claudette's true intentions and they were exposed yesterday when she caught her dancing with the biscuit tin.
She 'hurt' her back whilst out with Naomi earlier this week, as the pair rushed home to get her to rest. Manpreet was there, and offered to look her over and prescribe some pain killers but Claudette wasn't having it.
Later, she finally succumbed to being looked over by Manpreet, but the doctor didn't find any evidence of an injured back. During last night's episode, Manpreet rumbled her lies after seeing her dancing in the kitchen.
When Charles headed home, Manpreet told all about what she had seen, with Claudette forced to lie further to cover up her previous lies. However, she soon came clean and revealed she was in fact homeless.
However, some viewers are convinced all is not what it seems with Claudette - and there are more lies ahead.
" #Emmerdale Is Claudette telling full story? She is hiding something?" one viewer of the ITV soap penned, whilst a second added: "So what's Claudette's endgame do we think money or? #emmerdale."
A third shared: "I'm really not sure what to make of Claudette I think she is hiding something #emmerdale."
"#emmerdale Charles ' mum literally proven she's a liar, so she damn well better provide evidence. The moment she tried that "no more questions" bull, she'd find herself landing on the road outside before she finished the sentence," a fourth added.
Executive producer Jane Hudson teased Claudette is set to ruffle feathers for the Andersons.
"We are delighted to welcome Flo Wilson to the cast of Emmerdale. Her talent and experience will bring a new dimension to the show, and we can't wait for viewers to see her in action. She's certainly going to ruffle feathers in the Anderson household," she said.
Kevin Mathurin, who plays Charles, added: "I've had the privilege of working with Flo before, so when I saw her name on the sheet I knew she'd be perfect to bring Claudette to life. Flo is a wonderful soul, an amazing actress and is already settling in."
