Emmerdale favourite Charley has announced the sad news she’s closing her ‘dream' business.

As reported by our colleagues at The Mirror, Charley Webb, 34, who played Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale, has decided it is time to bring Nordi Babi to an end.

The business sells a range of Scandinavian-inspired handcrafted toys online. Taking to Instagram, Charley posted: “@nordi_babi is closing.

“I’ve loved this chapter and the journey it’s taken us on but we just don’t have the time to run it the way we want to. I love everything Scandi so this has been a dream.”

Charley, who is married to former Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden, added: “We’ve loved this journey so much but we just don’t have the time to run it the way we want. There’s a 40 per cent closing down sale.

“Thank you for your support, it’s been the most amazing journey with you all." Charley set up the business following her departure from Emmerdale.

At just 14, Charley started playing Debbie Dingle for 19 years. The acting star left Emmerdale for good following the birth of her and Matthew's third child, Ace. Fans of Charley will soon be able to see her in BBC drama Better which is due to air in the coming weeks.
