Emmerdale's Charley Webb rushes son to hospital in 'scary' 999 call

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has opened up about rushing her son to hospital.

As Emmerdale fans know, Charley has three children with co-star Matthew Wolfenden who plays David Metcalfe in the soap.

This week, the couple’s youngest son, Ace, two, was taken to hospital after feeling unwell.

On Charley’s Instagram, she told followers her son was feeling under the weather and after a 999 call Ace was rushed to hospital.

“Ace has been poorly since Friday being sick on and off but he’s just been really lethargic,” Charley explained.

“And then on Saturday he took a turn for the worse. We had to get him into hospital, but then today he’s turned a bit of a corner, but it’s been really scary, (we had) the ambulance out and everything.”

We all hope Ace feels better soon and lots of Emmerdale fans sent the family messages of support on social media.

Last year, it was confirmed Charley Webb had left Emmerdale for good having been a fan favourite as Debbie Dingle.

Many were sad to see her leave.

Partner Matthew Wolfenden remains in the soap although he recently had a leave of absence because of a well-publicised issue involving co-star Isabel Hodgins.

The pair were away from the show following an investigation into an alleged race incident.
