“Every day is a challenge and brings difficulties which are really hard to come to terms with. Eight-years-later we finally feel ready to talk about it and the goal is to raise as much money and awareness as possible, to be able to help everyone that may face this in the future. Even though she’s still here, I miss her. Always my Queen, HM’sD, love you Mama.”
Charley, who shares three children with husband Matthew Wolfenden, received lots of supportive messages from followers on Instagram.

One follower sally2911 said: “My mum was diagnosed three-years-ago with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. Today I struggled with what to write in her Mother’s Day card for the first time ever.
“However, when she opened her gifts, she re-wrapped them, only to open them again 20 minutes later. Thankfully, she loved her gifts the second time, as much as she did the first time.”
