Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan risks pushing his secret son Nicky too far next week, which could lead to their big revenge plan being exposed.
The character encourages Nicky to move ahead with his part of the plan, with him using Gabby Thomas in a fake romance.
Caleb is the secret son of Frank Tate, the ex of Kim Tate, who died on the soap from a heart attack in 1997.
Kim cruelly stood by as Frank died and didn't help him, while she also stole some of his fortune in the fallout.
Caleb somehow knows all of this, or at least suspects it, and he now wants to steal everything she has as he believes it's rightfully his.
He also wants revenge on Kim for how she treated Frank, and is ready to destroy her.
Gabby is the mother of Kim's grandson Thomas, so she currently has inheritance and assets from Kim for Thomas' future.
Nicky struck up a romance with Gabby to get his hands on her money, popping the question in a bid to get everything she has.
Of course viewers have seen Nicky struggling with the lie though, and no longer wanting to use Gabby.
They also know that Nicky is actually gay and has a secret lover, Ally, so the weight of his lie and faking his romance with Gabby is taking its toll.
He's admitted to Caleb he's not doing so well with everything, but Caleb remains in the dark about his son's sexuality it seems.
Next week, Caleb continues to pile on the pressure to Nicky as he wants them to get married sooner rather than later.
Wanting to act fast to get the money before it's too late, Caleb tells Nicky he needs to convince Gabby to bring the wedding forward.
But will Nicky end up snapping, and could Caleb's constant pushing end up exposing their plan?
After all, Gabby will no doubt be suspicious about them bringing their wedding forward given it was already a quick engagement.
Meanwhile, Caleb celebrates as the malware on Kim’s laptop starts to give him access to her bank accounts.
It seems his plan is in full motion, but will he manage to keep Nicky on track?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
