Emmerdale spoilers reveal Caleb Miligan will betray his own family in his bid to keep Kim Tate onside, after it was confirmed he could destroy his own brother's business.
Cain Dingle and his wife Moira could be in for a shock later this year, when Caleb's actions threaten to ruin them financially.
Before then, Caleb seemingly gets the ball rolling - but will he really throw his own brother and family under the bus, after recently saying how grateful he was to them?
Viewers know that Caleb is hiding a huge secret from the village and Kim, amid his revenge plan against her.
Caleb is the secret son of Kim's first husband Frank Tate, who died in 1997 from a heart attack. Kim was at the scene when Frank collapsed during a blazing row, and she cruelly made the decision to leave him to die.
Fans learned that Home Farm nanny Nicky Miligan was his son last month, and they've teamed up to take everything Kim has.
Next week, Caleb risks his own plan to steal Kim's money when their big business deal threatens to fall through.
After Kim confronts Cain over a row he has with her partner Will Taylor, she wonders where Caleb's loyalties will lie.
But she's angered when Caleb messes up the deal for the purchase of land they need for their stud farm, while Kim has no idea of Caleb's true intentions.
The loss of the land puts everything he's worked on at risk, and Kim tells him she no longer wants to be in business with him.
Caleb turns to his family and sets out to shockingly betray them it seems, with even Kim wondering how far he will go.
As the land falls through, he hears that Cain and Moira’s farm borders with Home Farm and decides that is his back-up plan.
But as he suggests a plan to betray his own family to secure the land they need, will he go through with it?
Teasing more ahead for Caleb, Executive Producer Jane Hudson recently told us: "We have revealed who Nicky is, there is still something else to find out but I'm not going to tell you. Not all the secrets have been revealed yet.
"There is something else we are going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past who turns up as well and we will be left wondering what this means for Gabby.
"We know they are planning a wedding so is that going to go off? Is it not? Meanwhile, how is Cain going to react when Caleb nearly sends Moira into financial ruin, which is a whole other story that's playing out.
"So when Cain finds out his brother is responsible, how on Earth is it gonna play out when they are trying so hard to have this relationship? Is it all going to be doomed?"
Asked when Kim Tate will find out that Caleb is Frank Tate's son and out for revenge against her, Jane said: "Soon, very, very soon. There is not long to go, it will be after the coronation but before the soap week."
