Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall is "demanding divorce" after her co-star husband left her for another actress.
In February, Amy, who stars in Downton Abbey, was left "crushed" when she and husband Andrew Buchan had a sudden split, Mirror Online reports. The actress got married to her famous husband in 2012 and the couple have two children, a son and daughter.
She has been left "crying every day" after husband of 11 years, Andrew, left their family home to continue his affair with actress Leila Farzad. Andrew and Leila met while working together on BBC series Better. It is believed the co-stars have moved in together.
It is now said that Amy is keen to make the shocking split official by formerly ending their marriage and getting what she is 'entitled' to. It is understood he told Amy he was leaving her just days before Christmas. Sources have claimed that Amy wants to "take back control" and divorced her husband.
An insider said: "The shock twist is that it sounds as though after all the hurt and heartache, Andrew and Leila have actually split. However, that hasn’t done much to change Amy’s mind."
The source continued to The Sun: "She’s told him she wants a divorce anyway. She’s been publicly humiliated and the pain has been unbearable."
Last month, Amy allegedly said she couldn't talk about the split rumours, stating: "I can't say anything". A source said Amy had been left devastated as she tries to rebuild her life.

They said: "It's been very hard for Amy. She's been crying virtually every day since it happened and she's struggling to cope with things. She can't even bring herself to talk about it as she's still trying to make sense of it all.
While a friend added: "Amy and the kids have been hit very hard by this, as you can imagine. They are all crushed. One minute they were living an idyllic family life in a beautiful house and the next, Andrew walks out on them," reports MailOnline.
Leila, who Andrew reportedly left Amy for, was portraying DI Lou Slack on Better while Andrew played Col McHugh. Andrew, who plays the head of the Leeds criminal underworld, is from Stockport, Cheshire and is best known for starring alongside Michelle Williams in All the Money in the World and ITV's Broadchurch.
Better launched on February 13, with all five episodes going live on BBC iPlayer on the same day.
