Emmerdale star Adam Thomas wowed fans after he showed off his "incredible" vocals this weekend. The former Adam Barton actor shared a clip of himself singing with his 1M Instagram followers and fans were left gobsmacked.
And it seems it was all for a good reason too, the dad-of-two decided to host a competition for one fans to join him for a night out in Manchester. Adam was inspired by a song he heard on the radio, later discovering that the artist in question was soon going on tour.
However, he was saddened to find out that the concert was already sold out, that's when he took matters in to his own hands and using his stardom he contacted the artist directly and managed to bag himself some tickets for the gig.
Ever the selfless one, Adam, decided he would give one ticket away to a lucky fan if they could guess the name and artist of the song he was singing in the clip in a random act of kindness.
He captioned the clip: "Want to come to a concert with me ??? I know times are pretty tough right now… so thought I’d try and put a smile on someone’s face.
"If you can name the artist and the song, I'm going to pick someone at random to come and watch him in Manchester."
A smiling Adam spoke directly to the camera before he burst into song, he said: "I have been singing this song all morning, now I'm about to sing it for you guys. Don't worry, I'm just going to sing the chorus.
"To cut a long story short, this song came on the other day while I was in the car and you know when a song just gets you? This song got me!
"I didn't know what the song was called, I didn't know who the artist was. I didn't know anything about it! So I looked him up and it turns out he's coming to Manchester at the end of the month."
He continued: "I slid into the guy's DMs and he got back to me. Not only did he get back to me, he put my name down on the guest list and also, a plus one."
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here campmate's unexpected signing skills took his army of fans by surprise with one even saying it made them "spit out their drink."
It wasn't long before the commented section was flooded with comments from fans and celebrity friends alike. Twin brother and Love Island star Scott Thomas penned: "The voice on the boy." Fellow Waterloo Road star Angela Griffin, posted: "Omg, where did THAT voice come from???!!! Honestly Adam. You are amaze."
While TV presenter Lisa Snowdon said: "Go on Adam! The boy can SING!" Strictly star and singe Fleur East wrote: "Wooooo!!!! Yes Adam! That voice! Always said you were a secret singer." While Former Gogglebox star and I'm A Celeb winner Scarlett Moffatt wrote: "Wow Adam your voice is beautiful."
Fans also rushed to leave their guesses in a bid to bag the concert tickets as well as share their compliment's for the stars vocals.
