Chas Dingle seethes on Emmerdale next week, as she "rumbles" sister-in-law Moira Dingle's apparent affair, and prepares to walk in on the mystery man.
But the ITV soap favourite is very wrong about her suspicions, and soon makes a shocking discovery as she storms into Moira's bedroom.
Viewers know that Moira has been hiding Faith Dingle's secret health battle from her family, at Faith's request.
Faith has yet to tell her daughter Chas, or Moira's husband Cain Dingle, that her cancer has returned and is now incurable.
As Faith continues to have treatment, next week she will seek comfort from Moira as she hides away at her house - not wanting her family to see her unwell.
But after recent goings on with Moira and Faith spending a lot of time together, upcoming scenes lead Chas to the wrong conclusion.
After finding her nephew Nate Robinson in only a towel at the house, and later hearing Moira telling someone she has an empty house, Chas assumes the pair have reignited their affair.
In scenes to air next week, she heads to the house and believes she's caught Moira and her fling in the act - only to make a discovery.
Moira is nursing Faith who is struggling with the side effects of her chemotherapy, which has left her feeling tired and unwell.
Faith accidentally spills a cup of tea over her daughter-in-law, leaving her apologetic as Moira rushes downstairs to clean up.
Just as she takes her top off, Chas comes storming in and sees her and assumes she's been getting steamy with Nate.
Asking "where is he?", Chas adds: "Your fancy man, who do you think? And do you know what, I've got a nasty suspicion who it might be."
As a furious Moira shouts at her, Chas tells her: "Don't come the innocent with me Moira," before sharing why she thinks Moira is up to no good with Nate again.
Chas then barks: "If you've got my mother involved in this and asked her to lie for you..."
Moira snaps, responding: "Lie for me? Are you out of your mind?" as Chas screams back: "No but you must be, doing this to Cain for a second time."
As she hears a bang, Chas tells her: "That will be him. You disgust me, the pair of you," before storming into the bedroom.
But she's left open-mouthed as all she finds is her mother seemingly making the bed.
Baffled, she asks: "What are you doing here?" - and Faith will soon be forced to think up a reason on the spot, which leaves both Moira and Chas stunned.
