Emmerdale newcomer Faye has recently been introduced to the ITV soap as a love interest for Mary Goskirk, played by Louise Jameson. The two have been dating and growing close.
Faye, played by actress Jane Gurnett, made her debut in the Dales back in January following a string of disastrous dates for Mary.
However, as the pair have gotten closer of the past few months, viewers have become convinced that Faye's arrival is tied to a much bigger current storyline and some suspect it might be linked to the last week’s revelation about Caleb being Nicky’s father.

What else has Jane Gurnett been in?
Acting star Jane Gurnett, 61, has enjoyed a rich and varied career. It is quite likely you’ll have seen her in a number of popular shows down the years.
The star has been on our screens since the eighties and has had many roles in well known TV shows. She is probably best recognised for her role as Rachel Longworth in Casualty, Rachel was a nurse who worked in the ED at the hospital. Jane portrayed Rachel for two years between 1994 until 1996.
Jane has also appeared in Dangerfield, Crossroads, Birds of a Feather, The Royal, Peak Practice and A Touch of Frost. Most recently she played Verity Foster in Doctors and last year she starred in crime drama Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators.
In addition to her TV roles, she’s also had starring roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the National Theatre.
Jane Gurnett's famous exes
The soap star was previously in a relationship with Coronation Street actor Ray Fearon, with whom she shares a daughter named Rosa May Fearon. Jane was 10 years Ray's senior.
Ray is also known for his roles as Firenze the centaur in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as well as his roles in Snatch, Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators, BBC’s His Dark Materials.
Jane went on to date another Coronation Street actor, John Wheatly (Joe Broughton in Coronation Street), the pair met when they both starred in drama ‘Vote for Them’. It is believed Jane is currently single.
Jane's 'miracle baby'
Jane has one daughter, Rosa May Fearon, with whom she shares with ex Ray Ray Fearon. It is reported that Rosa was conceived via IVF after a long and "agonising" 12 years. In an earlier interview Jane said: "I’ve gone down a long hard road to have my baby, I couldn’t believe my luck when little Rosa May came into my world."
