A double mystery in tonight's episode has left many Emmerdale viewers scratching their heads.
The arrival of Rhona Goskirk's ex husband Gus has left those watching convinced trouble was bound to come for her. Her former partner shocked her when he turned up at her local watering hole, The Woolpack, and asked if they could have a catchup.
During their conversation, it was revealed the couple had been married nearly two decades ago and split on bad terms. Rhona reluctantly agrees to a meeting, wondering why her past was paying her a visit.

Many viewers were wondering the exact same thing, especially after Gus placed an ominous phone call during which he told someone that Rhona "was never going to make it easy for me" and that he would "sort it out".
Spoilers for next week have already revealed who Gus was on the phone to and what it is he could want from Rhona. Viewers chatting on Twitter said they were sure it wasn't anything good.

Meanwhile, the end of tonight's episode ended with a creepy cliffhanger. The final shot revealed someone wearing a hood and black gloves watching Leyla Harding and Caleb Milligan.
Some viewers believe it might be Callum, who has just been released on bail. @thomas_matthewj tweeted: "Omg who’s spying on Leyla??"
