Emmerdale could be lining up a huge twist if fans are correct, after they predicted a Dingle death was on the way during the 50th anniversary episodes.
While nothing has been mentioned about Samson Dingle being in danger in the spoilers, the latest episode left viewers speculating he was set for tragedy.
After a row with his dad Sam Dingle, the character stormed off just as the windstorm began to pick up.
Sam had a go at him about his recent behaviour, revealing he didn't visit the pub to pay his respects to late family member Faith Dingle, after her death last week.
He was also referring to teen Amelia Spencer's pregnancy, with Samson revealed to be the father - but he has refused to stand by her or be a part of the baby's life.
Sam told the teen that he was ashamed of him, and that his late mother Alice would be too.
The character then turned to his wife Lydia and confessed he wasn't liking his son at the moment, or the person he had become.
Samson was shown storming off in a rage and wasn't shown again, leading to some fans questioning if he'd be in danger.
Viewers speculated that the Dingle teen might end up dying in the storm, or could at least end up trapped and seriously injured.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "# Emmerdale theory: Samson goes missing on the way to see Amelia and gets killed/injured in the storm and is found too late?"
Another agreed: "'I'm ashamed of you' klaxon Samson under a pile of rubble or impaled by a weather vane then?"
A third viewer tweeted: "'I'm starting to really not like that lad'... Please don't let these be the last ever words Sam says to Samson."
On the deaths ahead, producer Jane Hudson spilled to The Mirror recently: "We will be having some huge stunts, big emotional heartache, secrets, lies, comedy and sadly, some of the soap’s much-loved characters will sadly lose their lives."
Teasing more about how many characters could die, Jane remained coy over what would lead to the deaths.
She said: "It is always hard to kill a character as someone is losing their job. You don’t want somebody to lose their job.
"But the nature of soaps means if you want to introduce new characters, then you need to lose old ones. If you are going to do a death in the soap, it can’t be the postman who has had three lines because it doesn’t matter.
"A death has got to have an impact not just on the characters but also on the viewers watching. Each of our deaths will bring a different emotion."
