Emmerdale fans are convinced they've rumbled a second murder will take place - after Cain Dingle protected his son Kyle.
The ITV soap aired dramatic scenes earlier this week, as they revealed in a special flashback episode that Kyle Winchester was responsible for killing Al Chapman. During his court hearing, Cain pleaded guilty to the murder of Al to protect his son.
Now fans of the programme are sure they've worked out that another murder will take place, as Moira Dingle, Cain's wife, and Amy Wyatt, the mother of Kyle, battle with their secret when they find out the true reason Cain and Al were together.
For now, Cain hasn't revealed to anyone why he was with Al - after he lured the businessman there to confront him about his affair with Cain's sister Chas Dingle. Chas was with Al in a secret luxury trip away when her mother Faith died with Cain by her side.
However, fans are convinced Moira will set out for revenge when she finds out Chas was to blame.
"Why does Cain not want Moira to know about Chas and Al?" one fan wrote, with another viewer of the ITV soap quickly replying to share: "Because Moria would rip her head off, and it would do no good."
A second added: "Because if Moira finds out Chas is dead for sure," whilst a third shared their theory on what might happen: "Because Moira would rip here face off for destroying her family."
"He doesn’t want her to end up in prison as well coz she will murder Chas," a fourth penned.
It comes after actress Natalie J Robb - who plays Moira - teased some huge twists and turns ahead, which would have some lasting effects on the whole of the village as secrets and details emerge of what really happened.
"Moira is shocked to the core by Cain's confession. I think deep down she knew something wasn't quite right but she had no idea that Kyle had been involved in the shooting," Natalie revealed.
"I think the audience will really sympathise with Moira's dilemma. She will do everything she can to keep her family together, Kyle may not be hers by blood but she sees him as her own. She has a lot of extremely difficult decisions to make. This is a fascinating story to play as there are so many twists and turns that will cause a ripple effect to other characters in the village that are not yet aware of the true circumstances. Moira, as a mother and a wife, has such a turbulent time ahead which is great as an actress to get stuck into."
*Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm, with an hour long episode on Thursdays.
