Emmerdale fans are convinced Meena Jutla will be freed as her trial looms.
The serial killer has murdered four people on the ITV soap - her old friend Nadine, Leanna Cavanagh, Ben Tucker and Andrea Tate - and has caused a lot of harm to many others including Leyla Cavanagh, Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor amongst others.
But her sister Manpreet Sharma faced a harrowing ordeal at the hands of her sister, with Meena setting her sights on murdering her own sibling, but not before confessing her crimes to the doctor.
However, Manpreet managed to escape and told the police all what Meena has done, with a court date now set after Meena pleaded not guilty to the three charges of murder put to her.
Fans tuning into tonight's episode saw Wendy called as a character witness for the defence, and Manpreet do some preparatory work with Ethan ahead of the trial as she rehearsed how she'd deal with the tough questions.
And now those tuning in from home are sure they've worked out how Meena will manage to escape any jail time.
"Manpreet is either gonna fall to bits in court or not even show and Meena's gonna go scot free #Emmerdale," one suggested, whilst another said Manpreet could find herself in trouble with the law.
They predicted: "Nurse Ratchett gets off scott free and Manpreet is jailed for life with a minimum of 3 months #emmerdale."
"Plot twist manpreet has been in cahoots with Meena #emmerdale," another suggested that Meena and Manpreet were actually working together to free the serial killer from police custody.
Others were sure that Manpreet will fall apart on the stand as she tries to get Meena put behind bars.
"Manpreet has no idea about what’s in store for her in Court #emmerdale," one fumed, as another added: " #Emmerdale grow up Manpreet, Meena’s barrister will do her research on you. So toughen up."
"Jeez, Manpreet is so weak. Few questions and she's broken. #Emmerdale," a third penned.
It comes after actress Rebecca Sarker - who plays Manpreet - teased her character's lies will return to haunt her.
"She knows those weapons are in Meena’s armour and that Meena will throw anything at her to favour her case," she said, "The sisters know each other inside out really, she's aware and she's trying to prepare herself for what happens.
"To be so publicly exposed in court is a triggering experience for her."
