Emmerdale fans have claimed they have 'worked out' the identity of baby Reuben's dad after one of the ITV soap's actors seemingly gave a clue. Back in May, Charity Dingle's world was shattered as she saw Mackenzie Boyd refer to himself as 'daddy' as he worried over his newborn son who was seriously ill in hospital at the time.
Viewers already knew that Mack had enjoyed a one-night stand with Reuben's mum Chloe Harris last year during a tiff with his then-girlfriend Charity. He then gave her the cold shoulder when she repeatedly tried to contact him before Chloe eventually dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant.
After ignoring her and trying to get her out of the picture throughout the pregnancy, Mack's feelings changed once he knew his son had arrived. And less than two weeks after tying the knot, Charity discovered the truth about her husband's infidelity, which came after they lost their own unborn child.

And while Charity was left heartbroken, Mack has since struck up a relationship with his son's mum and the pair have even moved in together. But Emmerdale fans still think a twist could be on the cards as they believe Mack isn't Reuban's dad.
Some fans think that Nate Robinson could be Reuben's father following his previous fling with Chloe. But Nate has recently tied the knot with Tracy Metcalfe in surprise cenes that aired last week as Amy Walsh reprised her role following her maternity leave.
And the Express reported that Nate actor Jurell Carter recently shared: "I think obviously he’s had a fling with Chloe. That was just a sexual thing rather than any kind of romance or anything like that. He met Naomi, which they got on but again, work commitments and just not being on the same page got in the way.
"So I think he's finally got his match with Tracy and I feel like it's nice to see on screen as well." And according to the Mirror, fans took to Twitter to talk about their possible theory. One said: "If the baby somehow ended up being Nate's, Ruben would go from being Moira's nephew to Cain's grandson #Emmerdale."
Another wrote: "#Emmerdale After all this, Nate will be the baby’s father!" A third added: "#emmerdale is Mack really the father? Didn't she sleep with Nate too? Al?"
